Anatomy of Statistics

History: The Anatomy PowerPoint series began in 1999 as a way to provide students with guides to the creation of statistical charts and graphs - an area that receives little attention in statistics texts.  It has evolved to include relationships among terms, as well as other topics.

Authors: These slides were created by Ms. Lisa Gordon and Dr. Steve Johnson, Adjunct Lecturers in Statistics, Department of Mathematics, Computer Science, and Statistics, SUNY Oneonta.  They may be reprinted for academic use provided appropriate credit has been given.   Comments to johnsosd@oneonta.edu.

The Slides: The following PowerPoint slides provide descriptions of many commonly used charts, graphs, and statistical techniques.  All materials were updated during January 2005.
