This was a talk and demonstration for which I had corresponded with scholars
who had given a paper on the subject or developed software for the teaching
of grammar or of developing writing skills. I developed a bibliography and
gave some demonstrations of software during the conference. During these years
I also helped promote the use of the computer on my campus.
