• The Labyrinth: Resources for Medieval Studies—contains Old and Middle English Texts as well as information about history and culture.
• The British Library’s English Accents and Dialects—This site contains over 600 recordings of English people talking about everyday life in England . The accents are from all over the country and some were recorded in the 1950s.
• English Phrasal Verbs—This site contains an extensive, alphabetized and searchable list of phrasal verbs.
• Omniglot—This site contains descriptions of hundreds of languages and their writing systems, including images of the scripts.
• Language Families of the World
• Glottopedia--This site is a free online encyclopedia of linguistics, established and maintained by linguists.
• Linguistic Atlas Project--This site focuses on dialects of United States English.
• American Dialects Links--This site contains numerous links to sites about American English dialects in general as well as specific dialects.
• TELSUR Project--Based out of the University of Pennsylvania, this project is attempting to detail linguistic changes occurring in North American English.
• Speech Accent Archive--A collection of accents from around the world.
