Co-Facilitator. Teachers of Computer-Mediated Composition Training Workshop. University of Oklahoma. Aug. 1998 and 1999.
Trained new teachers of computer-mediated courses with Dr. Susan Kates. Overhauled previous training manual and designed a state-of-the-art workshop for 25 teachers. Helped them to learn and analyze pedagogical dimensions of the electronic classroom. Instructed teachers in Netscape Gold and Communicator (browsing, e-mail, and web page design), Microsoft Office, and WebBoard (bulletin board and chat web-based software). Also showed teachers ways to adapt materials from traditional classrooms to the computer-mediated environment. Designed the website for that workshop and the instructional packet.
