Pre-Enrollment Procedures for Fall 2007 Classes


KEY DATES AND DEADLINES

All majors should receive a mailing notifying you of Pre-Enrollment. It is important that you bring this form with you to your advisement meeting with your advisor.

Monday, March 12 - Tuesday, April 10: students are required to meet with their advisor to go over their Advisement Document and to plan for the coming semester. Students along with their advisors will fill out the attached form listing the courses they want to take in rank order. The advisor must initial this form. Completed forms should be given to the Department Secretary in FA 222.

Monday, March 12 : Open Advisement Workshop, 3:00, FA 221: as in past semesters the department will hold a general advisement workshop. The curriculum will be reviewed, the pre-enrollment procedures will be discussed, and students will be able to meet with their advisors. Bring your advisement document (Arrow Sheet) to this meeting.

Tuesday, April 10, 4:00: Deadline for submitting completed forms to the Art Department Office (FA 222). The forms need to be filled out and include the advisor’s initials. Forms submitted after this deadline will not be considered.


Monday, April 16 : Students must pick up the Early Pre-Enrollment Forms from the Art Department Office (FA 222). Students will know what courses they have been approved for. Each student will be given a maximum of two courses. It is the student’s responsibility to take the completed form to the Registrar’s Office.


Monday, April 16- Thursday, April 19 : Students submit completed Early Pre-Enrollment Forms to the Registrar. Make sure that any holds on your records have been removed.


Thursday, April 19: Pre-Enrollment Adjustment Period, 10:00-1:00, FA 307 : students unable to get a second class during pre-enrollment can meet with the department chair to select seats in open classes.


Completed forms are only valid during the pre-enrollment by major period. Completed forms submitted to the Registrar after April 19 are not valid.
