All teaching faculty are invited to submit applications
for the sixth annual Award for Uses of Instructional Technology.
Major Goals
The major goals of this award and presentation are to recognize uses
of technology to improve instruction and to publicize model uses of
technology among the faculty. A secondary goal is to publicize the
instructional technology accomplishments of Oneonta faculty with the
SUNY system and the region.
Award
The successful candidate will receive an award of $1000. In addition,
the department of the successful candidate will receive $1,000 for
use during the current fiscal year to purchase hardware or software
for the department or a member of the department or to bring in an
outside speaker on technology in the discipline.
Presentation
The successful candidate will provide a 30-45 minute presentation
describing the innovative technology project as part of an award
event (luncheon or reception) on February 15 of 2007.
