This web site is the product of investigations by an Environmental Geology class at SUNY College at Oneonta, NY in Spring 2008. The students identified aspects of the remediation that could be expanded on from the previous year’s class (which introduced the site, the problem, the general hydrology and geology, and provided a history of the site).

In brief, this year’s students wanted to include more detailed delineation of the local geologic framework, present 3-D graphics of the site for visualization purposes, provide an update on the current status of the remediation, and explore the rationale behind the remediation (the Record of Decision, 2004).
