Welcome.
A few details...I joined the faculty at the State University of New York, College at Oneonta in the fall of 2005. I now teach Acting, Voice, Directing and General Theatre courses for the Theatre Department and direct two productions a year at the college.
I remain active professionally in theatre, most recently acting with Chenango River Theatre in Greene, NY and directing and voice coaching for the Baltimore Shakespeare Festival. My wife, Barbara, is a professional costume and scenic designer and we occassionally get to work together on projects. I recently completed certification as an Associate Teacher of Fitzmaurice Voicework.
We have three children and live in the town of Oneonta. When I am not at school, I am likely to be working around the house, hiking at the local bird sanctuary, or reading. I'd love to say I was whitewater kayaking, backpacking, cycling, caving, or rock climbing but, let's face it, I don't do any of those things often enough to call them hobbies! I recently took up golf (alas, peer pressure...) but the weather in Oneonta makes this an unsteady diversion...
So, that's me. Click on the links for more information on what I do, where I've worked, and all that good stuff. Otherwise, thanks for surfing by.
