How to Succeed in Physics and in College
Read the topics before class (light reading). Make a mental note of troublesome areas.
Stay focused and alert (thinking, reacting). A lecture is not a TV show!
Refer to the text for important points learned during the lecture. Try the suggested Review Questions and/or Problems, if any.
Very important! Studies consistently show that better attendees do better in class.
The beginning of understanding is the willingness to question your own knowledge. Learning takes time.
Last minute studying does not work! Attend review sessions. Get help if you need it.
Relax! Read the questions carefully and take your time in answering them. Aim for a better performance, not a better grade.
