In November 2007 I applied for a Creative Activities Grant through the College to help pay for supplies for a series of Egg Tempera paintings. I was granted $1000 in early 2008. By the end of August I had received all the shipments of pigments and other supplies. Meanwhile, I renovated a room in my house to provide studio space, finally ready at the end of December 2008.
