Why have colleges joined the rush?
Some faculty and administrators have done it to improve education or to try something new.
Some administrators have done it to remain competitive or to save money!
Perhaps the creation of a new intellectual community is the key.
No innovation in recent memory has had this combination of faculty and administrative support!
