This assignment is meant to get you used to accessing the class home page and any assignments, homework, or information that is located there. My URL is:

(A) Access the home page for this class from one of the computer systems on campus or from elsewhere. Read everything.

(B) Print the following pages.

• The CSCI 201 Syllabus (and read it)
• Homework 1 (This assignment)

(C) Go to the Student Information Sheet page. There is a link for it on your class home page. Fill in all the fields with correct data for yourself then click the 'Submit Information Now!' button to send the information to your instructor. A page will appear after you submit your data. It will show a 'Success' or 'Failure' message. Submit your information until you get a 'Success' message. Print the 'Success' page and include it in the package of material you hand in for this assignment.

(D) Send a 'Hi there ...' note to me, here at Oneonta State. (Not a message, an E-mail note)

(E) Subscribe to the CSCI 201 Electronic Study Group as described on the class home page. Send a message to the CSCI 201 Electronic Study Group stating that you have subscribed to it. The e-mail address of the study group is csci201-01@listserv.oneonta.edu.

What to Hand In

Place a CSCI 201 cover sheet as the first sheet in your assignment then staple it and all other pages, from B and C above, together neatly, in the order listed. Hand your assignment in to your instructor on or before the due date listed at the top of this page.
