3d landscape

Create a Three-dimensional landscape to include a mountain, a body of water, a cloud plane, and 2 geometric objects.

Once finished with the above landscape, create a 3 second animation.

This project is designed as a brief introduction to the vast and exciting world of virtual 3D Rendering and Animation.

  • Use Bryce to create your landscape and make sure to include all the necessary elements (at least one mountain, a body of water, a cloud plane, and 2 geometric objects).
  • Experiment with different materials, elevations and textures.
  • Remember that in the virtual 3D environment even the simplest of worlds possess enormous complexity.
  • Do not confine yourself to one point of view. Move around your world often and see it from multiple points of view.
  • For your animation, create a simple camera fly-around.

What you will learn:

  • You will become familiar with the virtual 3D environment.
  • You will learn how to create and manipulate basic 3D shapes and scenes.
  • You will learn the basics of 3D animation
