Create a logo to market your own creativity.

  1. Find a glass jar to contain your creativity.
  2. Create a logo for the jar
    a) with an irregular border (made of compound paths)
    b) with Type on a variety of Paths
    c) With a traced graphic of yourself (not a photograph).
  3. Print your logo, cut it to shape, and glue it on the jar (with rubber cement).
  4. Fill the jar with something that is representative of your creativity.

What is Due:

  • 1 glass jar with contents and a nice logo on it.
  • the logo file Saved in Illustrator format
  • the same file exported as a GIF file (File>Export).

How to save your Work

Save each image as an Illustrator EPS file.

Also, export each image as a GIF file (File>Export), and add the extension .gif at the end of the file name.

 

Use Adobe Illustrator to complete this assignmet.

Imagine that your creativity will be mass marketed (and graded of course), so pay attention to every aspect of the package. It must be highly finished and professional from the selection of the jar, to the invention of the contents, to the polished logo.

Notes:

  • The jar lid can be painted with acrylic colors or spray paint in order to remove the original jar logo.
  • Use Rubber Cement to glue your paper on the jar. Any other glue may wrinkle your paper
