Create a 10" x 21" poster

Theme: Transportation Throughout History

Use Illustrator, Photoshop, and any other program you deem necessary in order to create your assignment.

In this project you will be using a combination of text, vector and raster graphics in combination. Illustrator is one of the best applications for this task. Manipulate photographs (raster images) in Photoshop and then place them in your illustrator poster where you can best manipulate the graphic and the text elements.

Use only original (your own) images. Do not download pictures from the internet, and do not scan images from magazines or books. You may use "roayalty-free" photographs with proper attribution but you might find out that they are too small for your poster.

Scan all photographs at 150dpi

Set your screen rulers to display inches (Illustrator > Properties)

Create the final layout in Illustrator

Save the following:

One Adobe Illustrator (.ai) file (File > Save)

One TIFF file at 150 dpi (File > Export)

One JPG file (File > Save for Web)
