Assignment: Logo

Step 1:
Create 10 black and white thumbnail sketches for a monogram logo design of your initials.
They should be quick drawings without much detail, but they must provide enough clarity to communicate a possible final design.
Use Pencil or Pen on paper.

Step 2:
Create a preliminary composite (a more refined sketch that addresses the details) of what you think is the best design from the thumbnail collection.
Assign colors to the design elements.

Step 3 :
Create a final composit based on the preliminary composit using Adobe Illustrator.

WHAT IS DUE

Submit a portfolio of

• 10 thumbnail sketches (pen, or pencil)
• 1 preliminary composit (pen or pencil)
• 1 final composit Printed (6" x 6")

Place all work in an envelope, or folder clearly labeled with your name, semester, year, and class
