Assignment: Type

Part 1:
Use type in order to create images for the following terms:

Music

Shark

Clown

Cloud

You may use one letter, one word, or one paragraph.

Ideally, the treatment of the type elements and the final design will reflect the unique character of each word.

Part 2:
Create a poster that communicates the aesthetic attributes of the negative space between two joined letters. Place as much emphasis on the negative space as possible.

Step 3 :
Create a self portrait using strictly type elements. Emphasize the most prominent characteristics of yourself.

Use Illustrator to do all of the above.

Keep all sizes at 8 x 10 in.

Do not use any pictures or graphics for this assignment.

Save every part as an Illustrator file in a folder labeled "your-last-name as2"
