Thomas Created this digital sculpture using SolidWorks 99
A wireframe of a variation of the same theme in wireframe view
and in solid view

The work on this page became possible with the generous support of the Senate Committee on Research.

Ted Green and Thomas Sakoulas used the engineering software (Solid Works) to create a number of sculptures, the most successful of which are presented here.

Ted is Drawing and defining the outlines of the piece in SolidWorks
Another part of the same assembly. All the splines in the drawing must be defined.
The same part in a more advance state. The part has been defined and created, while the program generated this detailed drwawing of the 3D part
All the parts are put togeteher in an assembly. This is a drawing of the 3-Dimenssional model.
Ted Created this head in mild steel using the plasma cutter and the MIG welder.
Another view of the same piece

Click here if you want to see the Computer version
of the above sculpture.

!!Warning!!
It is a ~2MB file and it might take a while for it to download
Will post a smaller version of it soon.

Ted created this animation on 3D Studio Max 3.1 after the completion of the steel piece.
