My research interest is currently in globular clusters. Globular clusters are massive groups of hundreds of thousands of stars packed into a space often less than 200 light-years across. These systems were once thought to have formed in one single event, but evidence indicates that there seem to be distinct groups of stars within them which may represent unique populations of stars that formed at different times. My research involves looking at the chemical properties of these cluster stars to help try to answer this question.
