Powerpoint submission. Updated 11/28/05 based on previous class discussion.

Students may receive credit for submitting a copy of their PowerPoint presentation. To receive credit, you must do the following:

1. Submit the presentation as an attachment to an e-mail.

2. The e-mail should be sent to Dr. vom Saal at vomsaaw@oneonta.edu.

3. The SUBJECT line of the e-mail should say "Psyc 202 PowerPoint presentation."

4. The PowerPoint presentation itself must be good enough to put on the website. That means:

A. It should be neat, professional, and without grammatical and technical errors.

B. It must include a slide showing the title and the author(s).

C. It must include citations giving credit to sources when other sources were used. It is acceptable to use other sources to some degree. It is not acceptable to use them without attribution. Use of other sources should be limited so that it does not violate copyright.

5. The BODY of your e-mail should include a statement indicating the title and authors of the PowerPoint presentation. The description of authorship can include only one person, more than one person, or different people being responsible for different aspects of the presentation.

6. The BODY of your e-mail also MUST include a statement of whether or not you agree to have me post the PowerPoint on the website. You are NOT required to say yes to this to get points (although you ARE required to have a statement of whether or not you are willing to have the PowerPoint presentation on the website). Only give me permission if you are comfortable with the presentation being on our website.

7. The due date for this was discussed in class. I would like to receive all PowerPoint submissions by Thursday, 12/1/05, unless you have made other arrangements with me for an extension.
