1. Invent a true experiment that has in it an independent variable, dependent variable, extraneous variable, and confounding variable.
2. Briefly (in one paragraph), describe the experiment. Begin your description this way: "An experiment was conducted to examine the effects of ________ on ___________ ." (Note: the blanks could be one word or more than one word.) In the remainder of the description, say who the subjects were, and then give a very brief summary of the procedure.
