To get the revised data from the class survey click here.
THIS IS THE REVISED DATA WE WORKED ON IN CLASS.
Use the sheet labeled "Use this data to analyze" for all your work.

Note: save one copy as the original, then use Save As to make a backup copy so you can modify the data and still retrieve the original.

You may want to add a new page to the excel Workbook:
-- use---->Edit > Move or Copy Sheet
and check the box labeled Create a Copy.

Note on sorting rows:
- select (highlight) the rows you want to sort. Do this one of two ways:
----a. put your cursor in the left margin, click on the first row, and drag down to the last row.
----b. put your cursor in the left margin, click on the first row to highlight that row, then move your cursor down to the last row you want to select and press SHIFT- click.
- click on Data > Sort
- be sure that the "No Header Row" option is selected. (I didn't do this in class, and that is why I was having problems).
- use the drop-down list to select the column that contains the data you want to sort.
- click OK.
