Description:

This a special assignment that will be unlike any other in the course. Write a paper for yourself in which you try to identify your own sexual value system. This paper will be returned to you (unread!) later in the course. Think about some of the following questions, and address any or all of them as you write:

- when sex is OK according to you?

- what are the "rules" you give yourself and try to live by?

- have your rules for yourself changed?

- do you expect them to change further?

- where did you get those rules?

- are your rules for yourself different from your rules for other people?

- what rules (or guidelines) would you give your little brother or little sister if you had one? Would they be the same as your rules for yourself? Would they be different for a brother than for a sister?

- do you follow your own rules?

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS:

Place this paper inside an envelop, seal the envelop, and write your signature over the seal. PRINT your name on the front of the envelop. This assignment will be graded "acceptable" as long as a sealed envelop is delivered to me on the due date. Its contents are for you only, and the envelop will be returned to you near the end of the course.
