Movie Summaries:

  Your short assignment is to complete two summaries of the movies we will see in class.  In addition, a book or article citation relating to the movie should be included at the end of the summary. These reviews should be typed, single-spaced as a Word document and should be submitted via the Angel drop box the next class day after we view the movie.  Each summary is worth 30 points.

Oral Presentation & Papers:

Each group or individual will have 10-15 minutes to present their topic.  This includes any set-up (such as videos, slides or overheads).

Each person in the group must speak to the class (at least briefly).

The order of presentations will be selected in November. This means that every group must be prepared to present the first day of presentations, unless we have volunteers.  Please try to be on time so we can get underway quickly.

You can select any topic having to do with Old World Archaeology.  If your group selects a topic already covered in class, it would be good to include new information.

 

Your paper is to be handed in the same day as your oral presentation.  It should be 2-3 pages, single spaced and be on your specific area of the presentation, plus whatever other information you want to include.  Please include the references you used on the presentation and paper.  The papers can be submitted as a Word document to the Angel drop box.
