CSCI 201 Homework 1

This assignment is meant to get your familiar with the content of chapters 2 to 4. Although you can find out answers to some exercise from the book, I encourage you to do them on your own first before consult the answer.

Complete all of the following problems. Write all your answers using Microsoft Word. Make sure you use the official cover sheet for this course as the first page that you hand in.

1. From the Exercises beginning on page 47 do problems each b of 23-40 if a problem has no subproblems, you just answer that problem as a whole, if a problem contains several sub problems, answer subproblem b only for homework. But feel free to go over others.

2. From the Exercises beginning on page 85 do problems 5-10, 37, 45, 48,49,51, 52, 53, 56, 57, 60,61,69,70,

3. From the Exercises beginning on page 116 do problems 18-29, 30, 31, 44,53,54,56,58,60, 62, 63,64, 66, 68, 72 your answers (hand draw if you do not know how to do that in Word) neatly for questions that require drawing
