We are so happy that you are visiting our webpage and interested in joining us at one or more of our meals. These meals offer tremendous learning experiences for the students and a fun and flavorful repast for you and your colleagues.
The information below refers to the fall luncheons
Before you move on to perusing our menus and we would like to provide you with some information to help you enjoy these delightful little escapes for the workaday world.
Guests are allowed to register for a maximum of three luncheons (student club and Dragon's Roost meals are not included in this restriction). We know that this is disappointing but we want as many people from across campus and the community to come for the fun as possible.
Most meals are priced at $8.50 per person but there are two meals priced at $10 per person. The additional cost for those two meals will be donated to an FSRA scholarship in an effort to reward our current and future students for all of their hard work.* Additional donations are always cheerfully accepted!
A vegetarian choice can be available at each meal. Simply specify in your reservation that you would like the vegetarian option and we will prepare it fresh for you
This season's menus and recipes are available in the new Me llamo 2011 recipe booklet for the modest price of $20. There are a limited number of recipe booklets available for 2008 (2), 2009 (3) and 2010 (3) available for the same price. The proceeds will be contributed to the FSRA scholarship. Therefore you will be benefiting from hundreds of dollars worth of cookbooks, our expertise and support a worthy cause all while learning how we pull off our culinary feats! *
These meals are produced by the students of FOOD 239 and FOOD 235 as part of the course learning and no profit is made on the sale of meal tickets. Please remember that, though the students strive to produce and serve a superb meal to our guests, this is a learning experience and as such may have an occasional detour from the intended plan.
The restriction of 3 meal purchases per person ends September 30 therefore please check again then and consider joining us for any additional meals that have open seats.
Below you will find a link to the luncheon dates and menus that will be featured. Please follow it to learn the excitement in store for you this semester.
All meals are served in Room 143 in the Human Ecology Building on select
Mondays and Thursdays starting promptly at noon. Seating is limited so reserve your tickets right away.
* Please note that since you receive fair market value through the meal and/or the recipe booklets the monies may not be considered tax deductible
