menus from country inns, unique restaurants and other neat venues.
Below you will find the luncheon
dates and the inn that will be featured. Click on the link to find the
actual menu for each meal. At the bottom of this page you will find the
information about reserving seats for a meal.
We have a larger class this semester and
therefore can offer more seats at each meal. Please, however, limit your
choices to 3 meals so that more colleagues can savor the skills of our students.
If there are still seats available at any of the meals after September 15th then
you will be welcome to reserve additional meals at that time.

We offer another opportunity to enjoy our students creations through the Dragon's Roost Cafe. FOOD 235 is a facility design course in which students gain hands-on experience in foodservice operations. Last year we tested students gaining some of that experience in our kitchen and it was a great success. We use a set menu for this cafe as the students preparing each meal differ. Check it out and considering joining us. Please note that seats at these meals are included in the limit of 3 until after September 15th. Thank you!

A vegetarian choice can be available at each meal. Simply specify in your reservation that you would like the vegetarian option and we will prepare it fresh for you
All meals are served in Room 143 in the Human Ecology Building starting promptly at noon. Meals cost $6.50 per person. Seating is limited so reserve your tickets right away.
Reserve seats for a specific meal by e-mailing the course instructor (Oscar Oberkircher) at oberkioj@oneonta.edu. Your reservation will be confirmed by an e-mail response. Payment for meals, cash or check payable to "OAS FOOD 239" @ $6.50 per person, can be made in person at the Human Ecology Department office (100 Human Ecology Bldg) or with Oscar Oberkircher (142 Human Ecology Bldg). Your meal tickets will be mailed to you. Meal tickets are non-refundable because the money will be spent on food. If you can not attend a meal please give your ticket to someone else so that we have a full seating for the students.
These meals are produced by the students of FOOD 239 as part of the course learning and no profit is made on the sale of meal tickets. Please remember that, though the students strive to produce and serve a superb meal to our guests, this is a learning experience and as such may have an occasional detour from the intended plan.
