		Delaware County, NY flood site	Delaware County has provided an excellent visual overview of the severity of the flooding during the June 26-28, 2006 event
		Otsego County’s June 2006 Flood Data	Otsego County provides an interactive map of flooded areas, as well as maps of roads closed after the flood.
		Dartmouth’s Flood Mapping Project	This site provides satellite estimates of flooded areas world-wide. Superb resource! Here’s the link to the detected flood areas for the 2006 flood. http://www.dartmouth.edu/~floods/images/2006119Susquehana.jpg
		Data Visualization: Global Mapper	Much of the spatial information from the USGS requires specialized software to view the data. I use Global Mapper, a software package specifically designed for this purpose. Global Mapper is available as freeware, or for purchase. Here’s a short intro to downloading data and working with Global Mapper.
		Flood 2006 Disaster in the Heartland of New York	This is a photo journal of the June 2006 flood in Otsego and Delaware counties, put together by The Daily Star, a local newspaper in Oneonta. Currently, the book is out of print.
