Paris, Bibliothèque nationale, fr. 414 : Légende dorée. Colophon gives date of 1404 for the text, but the miniature by the Virgil Master is c. 1407. The miniature shows an awareness of compositions in the Belles heures by the Limbourg Brothers. Compare to the Virgil Master work in the Getty copy of the philosopher Alchandreus ( MS. 72)which also shows a knowledge of Limbourg compositions.
