Bali Taksu
During June of 2017, I spent two weeks in an intensive performance/clown training program in Bali, Indonesia. During the immersive program, we lived in the village of Singapadu, studying with local teachers of dance, maskwork, gamelan and vocal performance. This work was blended with Western performance approaches including Michael Chekhov and Fitzmaurice Voicework, clown and physical comedy. Basing the program in a traditional village environment allowed for intimate contact with the family, community and spiritual traditions of artistic expression among the Balinese people.

The Identity Play Reading Series, has continued to thrive as we enter our ninth year of producing readings that celebrate diversity and identity. Students and interested members of the college community working on these projects meet on Friday afternoons in Fine Arts. At least four readings are slated for the 2017-2018 academic year. Feel free to contact me for more information!

The Farm
Sheep, fencing, finicky tractors, chickens and, yes, a llama. Our family farm here in Oneonta is challenging counterpoint to business as usual...
Our new barn is virtually complete, but there is always plenty of work to do!
