Preliminary notes

Places to begin:

Tara Kuther's book The Psychology Major's Handbook has a companion website that gives links to many useful web resources. Several of the other sites described below are listed on that website. When you go to the website, you can click on the link at the left named Careers in Psychology. You also can select a chapter at the top of the page, then click on the the web links for that chapter on the left of the screen. For example, try to do that to find the web links for Chapter 7: What Can I Do with a Career in Psychology? You should end up seeing this page.

Pursuing Psychology Career Page. This site, maintained by Dr. Linda Walsh of the University of Northern Iowa, provides many links to other sites and resources related to careers in psychology. [Side point: the Kuther site above has a link to this site but says it is maintained by Dr. Linda Weber. Extra credit for any class member that tracks down whether this truly an error and, if so, drafts a polite e-mail to Tara Kuther OR whoever maintains the site above (check that out) that points out the error and politely suggests a correction! Show me a copy before you send anything!]

Forensic Psychology. See the American Psychology - Law website. That website includes a Links page with links to other websites related to forensic psychology.
