My name is Jennifer Braun and I am currently a sophomore psychology major with a concentration in pre-medicine. This has been my first semester involved in research, which means I have been learning the techniques of lab and have yet to begin my own study. As a new participant, I have experienced field work to collect our fish specimens, dissections to locate and collect the parasites found within those fish, and preservation methods to make further research possible. I would say that this has been an excellent experience, as I am continuously learning more and more each week.
