Geo/SAT 2 is a new series of instructional modules. These modules are designed to have students logically work through an environmental problem based on the nature of the data and the use of simple mathematical procedures. No sophisticated statistical techniques are used in the modules. The modules are built around the image processing software package called EarthScenes. Each module is written in Microsoft Word and includes a PowerPoint presentations and the html files used to display the below Web presentations. Most of the modules are constructed around Landsat 5 or 7 data sets. Two modules also use IRS (Indian Remote Sensing) data sets and one module incorporates a DEM (Digital Elevation Model) data set.
